A Word from Pastor Don

It is the most wonderful time of the year! Fall weather that is, while the hot days of summer are ending and the cooler weather of fall begins.

As one season ends and the next begins, I find myself looking back at the mighty things the Lord is doing around me, with an absolute awe! He has revealed His mighty plan one day at a time. But there seems to be an expedition happening around us, as the Father is quickening His plan. The many miracles that are occurring have become much more frequent, with cancers being healed, depression being lifted, asthma and lung issues totally gone, back pain no more, heart conditions healed and the list goes on! All of these recent miracles have happened within our LHC family.

The word “expedition” not only describes the higher speed at which these miracles are taking place, but this term is also twofold as it also refers to the exciting journey that we are on as a church body in the Kingdom Realm.

We are no longer the new kid in the neighborhood, as LHC is being recognized as the place with a powerful healing anointing. There are people that are coming from all over just to be prayed for and receive their miracle. The Father is truly strengthening His Gift for Healing within our people.

As I was listening to the top hit song, “Younger Me” by Mercy Me, the words began to resonate in me, “If I knew then what I know now, would’ve not been hard to figure out what I would’ve changed if I had heard, Dear younger me”.

Though this may be very true, that my life would have been so much different……if I had only known, I realize that the Lord has had His hand upon my every step through my journey. Even in the times when I did not honor Him, He knew exactly what I was going through, and these lessons of life have all shaped me to be a man chasing after the heart of the Father.

After dwelling upon all of this, I am thankful that Father God chooses to reveal our walk in life only one day at a time. I also thank Him for being there in every moment, writing upon every page, every day of my life.

Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
